an Uberbug can be made stronger by gathering stats.
There are three different stat types

**Speed**

increases the speed of the uberbug

**Regen**
{{:game_objects:regen.png?nolink&25|}}
increases the rate at which an uberbug heals. Every 50 regen stat adds one additional maximum health.

**Attack**

increases the firing rate of an uberbug. Every 30 attack stat adds a tiny bit of range to the shot.

Underlings and nests have a chance to drop a stat when they are killed.
When a player is killed by another player, he will drop a third of his stats on the terrain.
When a player is killed by the monster, the stats will go to the monster.

Assignable stats can also be earned. They can be applied on the stats screen in the main menu. Two stat points need to be removed in order to get one assignable stat.

**Stats cap increase items**

The maximum total amount of stats that a player can have is 100. This maximum can be increased via stats cap increase items. Each stats cap increase item adds an additional 20 stats to the maximum. A total of 5 stats cap increase items can be picked up, bringing the maximum total amount of stats up to 200. Stats cap increase items are not lost when you die, they do however reset at the end of the season.Example for a player with one stats cap item: 50 speed,35 regen, 35 attack. (Total:120)
